What we collect, what we never collect, and who else touches it. Homeroom is built and hosted with ♥ in Austin, Texas, United States.

If you have a page (sellers)

  • Your email address, to sign you in and to send you account mail. We use Resend to deliver sign-in links and codes.
  • Your page content: name, bio, links, resource cards, images you upload. It is public by design; that is what a page is for.
  • Your subscriber list: the emails and first names people enter on your page. We hold this for you. We never email them, never share the list, and you can export or delete it any time.
  • Where you signed up from: if you arrived via a link with a tag (for example a QR code), we keep that tag against your account so we can tell which outreach worked.
  • Page analytics for your dashboard; see below. They are counts, not people.

Cookies on homeroom.page: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a 30-day cookie holding the sign-up tag above. Nothing else, no third-party cookies, no advertising trackers.

If you visit a page (visitors and subscribers)

Pages on name.homeroom.page set no cookies and run no third-party scripts. We count visits without identifying anyone:

  • Which page, whether it was a view or a click on a card or link, and when.
  • The website you came from (hostname only) or a tag on the link you tapped.
  • Your country, from our network provider’s request header. Not your city.
  • Whether the device is a phone or a desktop. Nothing finer.
  • A one-way hash of your address and browser mixed with a secret that changes daily, so we can count unique visitors for a day. It cannot be reversed, is never stored alongside an address, and cannot connect two days of visits.

We never store IP addresses, never fingerprint devices, and never sell or share traffic data. The hash is dropped after 90 days when counts are rolled up.

If you subscribe on a seller’s page, your email goes to that seller. We store it for them and show it only to them. To unsubscribe, use the seller’s own unsubscribe instructions, or email hello@homeroom.page and we will remove you from that list.

Who else touches the data

  • Cloudflare delivers the site and provides the country code. Their network sees requests like any web host’s does.
  • Resend sends account email to sellers. It never sends to subscribers.
  • Nobody else. No analytics vendors, no ad networks, no data brokers.

Keeping and deleting

Your data stays as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes your page, images, subscriber list, and analytics immediately. Nightly backups are kept for 14 days and then overwritten. Sign-in links and codes expire after 15 minutes.

Children

Homeroom accounts are for adults who sell teaching resources. Pages are public and may be seen by anyone, including students, which is why the content rules in the terms exist. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your rights

You can see, export, correct, or delete everything we hold about you from your dashboard and settings, without asking us. If you are in a place with specific privacy rights (for example the EU, UK, or California), those rights apply and the same tools satisfy them; for anything the tools do not cover, email us.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email sellers at least 30 days before. Questions: hello@homeroom.page.
